Les adjectifs possessifs (Possessive adjectives)
Possessive adjectives are words which express one's possession. In French, they agree in gender and number with the nouns they define. In other words they must agree with the thing possessed, not with the possessor.
Note
1. sa mère his mother / her mother
son père his father / her father
2. Before a feminine noun beginning with a vowel or mute use mon, ton, son instead of ma, ta, sa.
 Exemple
mon amie (f) instead of ma amie. ton école (f) instead of ta école.
son étudiante (f) instead of sa étudiante.
